Males with Mild to Moderate Multiple Sclerosis

To qualify you must be:

  • Male between the ages of 18 to 55 years

Qualified participants will receive:

Study will examine sperm parameters in male subjects with multiple sclerosis.  Study duration is up to 226 days with 10 site visits.

Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female over the age of 18 years
  • Have non-dialysis dependent Chronic Kidney Disease

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is approximately 4 to 5 years and includes 31 visits.

Patients scheduled for abdominal surgery

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female over the age of 21 years
  • Scheduled for abdominal surgery with no collateral procedures

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is up to 25 days with approximately 1 visit.  Will require a 48 hour hospital stay and 1 follow up phone call 30 days after discharge.

Patients with Non-Cancer related Pain

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between the ages of 18 to 75 years
  • Have moderate to severe non-cancer related pain
  • Have received opioid treatment for more than 6 months

Study duration is up to 52 weeks with approximately 18 visits to the study center.

Patients with Type II Diabetes (T2DM)

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between 18 to 80 years of age
  • Currently taking Metformin and Liraglutide

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is up to 34 weeks with approximately 6 visits to the study center.

Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female over the age of 40 years
  • Currently taking Respiratory medications

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is up to 36 months and approximately 12 visits to the study center.

Patients on Dialysis with Central Venous Catheter (CVC)

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female 18 years of age and older
  • Patient on Dialysis with Central Venous Catheter
Qualified participants will receive:
  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is up to 6 months.  Patients will have monthly visits to the study center.

Male or Female with Lumbar Disc Herniation

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between 30 to 70 years of age
  • Have lumbar herniated disc

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is 30 weeks with a total of 6 visits.  Patient will be required to have MRI/X-ray 4 times during length of study.

Patients with Portopulmonary Hypertension

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between 18 to 79 years of age
  • Stable liver disease based on lab results
  • Have had and passed Right Heart Catheter study

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration will be up to 33 weeks and approximately 8 visits to the study center.

Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between 18 to 80 years of age
  • Right Heart Catheter study within past 5 years
  • Other criteria will be considered during the screening period

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration will be up to 36 months and include approximately 16 visits to the study center. Patient will need to pass certain tests including 6 minute walk.

Patients with Atrial Fibrillation

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female over 18 years of age
  • Newly diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation
  • Currently taking Anti-Thrombotic medication

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration will be up to 36 months and approximately 4 visits to the study center.

Patients with Pulmonary Fibrosis

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female between 18 to 79 years of age
  • Right Heart Catheter study within 1 year
  • CTscan and Pulmonary function tests within 6 months
Qualified participants will receive:
  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication
Study duration is up to 16 weeks with approximately 7 visits to study center.

Male or Female patients diagnosed with Type II Diabetes with increased risk for cardiovascular events with no previous stroke or heart attack.

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female 50 years of age and older
  • Type II Diabetic with increased Cardiovascular Risk

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study, does not requires overnight stays.

Type II insulin dependent Diabetic patients with severe renal insufficiency (not on Dialysis)

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female 18 years of age and older
  • Type II insulin dependent Diabetic
  • With severe Renal Insufficiency (not on dialysis)

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is approximately 69 weeks with 17 outpatient visits and eight phone calls. Study, does not requires overnight stays.

Anemic Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease not on Dialysis

To qualify you must be:

  • Male or Female 18 years of age and older
  • Anemic with Chronic Kidney Disease not on Dialysis

Qualified participants will receive:

  • Financial compensation for their time
  • Study related medical exams and investigational medication

Study duration is estimated to vary between 1 and 2 years and no overnight stays are required.
